Healing from betrayal is a journey that requires courage, understanding, and support. At Betrayal Recovery Collective, we are dedicated to providing the guidance you need to reclaim your life and rebuild trust.
About Betrayal Recovery Collective
Betrayal Recovery Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting betrayed partners healing from betrayal trauma — the profound pain that follows infidelity, deception, or the breach of trust in an intimate relationship.
We believe that healing from betrayal deserves the same specialized, informed care as any other trauma. Too often, betrayed partners are left to navigate this pain alone, or with providers who don't fully understand its unique impact. Betrayal Recovery Collective exists to change that.
Betrayal can also take on other forms, such as a spouse with a hidden gambling or substance addiction, workplace sabotage by a trusted colleague, or a donor who gives resources in good faith, and learns their funds were misappropriated. BRC is here to address betrayal, in any form it takes.
Our Goal
To provide accessible, specialized clinical care and community support for individuals healing from betrayal trauma — and to grow the number of clinicians equipped to offer it.
What We're Building
Betrayal Recovery Collective will offer:
Individual Therapy
Specialized, trauma-informed care from clinicians trained specifically in betrayal trauma recovery, offered at a low fee, so cost isn't the primary the barrier to care.
Support Groups
A community of betrayed partners who understand, offering connection and shared healing alongside individual treatment.
Community Education
Talks and trainings to help families, faith communities, workplaces, and other providers better understand betrayal trauma and how to respond to it with compassion and
helpful approaches.
Clinician Scholarships
Funding to help therapists pursue specialized certification, so more survivors can access qualified care in the years ahead.
Help Us Build
What Comes Next!
Betrayal Recovery Collective is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (*California tax-exempt determination is still pending) dedicated to making specialized betrayal trauma care more accessible to the people who need it.
We are in the early stages of building something deeply needed: a place where betrayed partners can access clinically informed care at a lower cost, and where clinicians can receive the specialized training needed to serve this population well.
Your support can help us turn that vision into reality.
Donations will help us:
-
Subsidize therapy for clients who could not otherwise afford specialized betrayal trauma care
-
Develop individual and group therapy programs designed specifically for betrayal trauma recovery
-
Provide scholarships for clinicians pursuing specialized training and certification
-
Expand community education and awareness about the impact of betrayal trauma
-
Build the clinical infrastructure needed to serve individuals and families for years to come
* Our federal tax-exempt status has been approved, and our California tex-exempt determination is still pending. California may recognize the exemption retroactively, but donors should consult their own tax adviser regarding the California deduction until the Franchise Tax Board completes its review.
We are also completing the practical steps needed to begin accepting contributions, including establishing our nonprofit banking and online giving systems.
Be Part of the Beginning
We are not yet accepting clients, and online giving is not yet available — but this is an exciting time to become part of BRC’s story.
If you're interested in becoming an early supporter, learning about future giving opportunities, or helping us build the foundation for this work, contact us.
You can also join our mailing list to follow our progress, learn when programs become available, and be among the first to know when online giving opens. That feature will be added soon!
Healing after betrayal shouldn't depend on someone's ability to afford the right care. Together, we can help change that.
